Some
girls grow up wanting to be a ballerina or supermodel, some want to
be a doctor or a lawyer, but Amanda Loncar grew up wanting to
be an actor. Born in Arcata, California, Amanda got her first taste
of stardom when she worked alongside her Mother in a Foodmart commercial, she was only six (6) months old. It wasn’t long until Amanda
grew into a budding young actress with aspirations of stardom.
Like
many of the other talented actors in Hollywood Amanda is both a talented
actress and a natural beauty. She showcases both of these assets in
her latest project Jackpot where she portrays "Jenny
Grayson" an intelligent, strong minded young woman who would
do just about anything for her family, even lie.
Amanda
began training for her career as an actor when she turned nine (9) years
of age. Her first stop, the Del Arte Players in Blue Lake, California
where she trained until moving on to a private instructor, Ed Claudio,
at the age of fourteen (14), a coach she still works with today. While
fine tuning her skills Amanda participated in Community Theater
where she was given the opportunity to grow as an actor. This is also
where Amanda realized she had a fondness for live theater. She often
dreams of what it would have been like to work with the Group Theater
in New York City or with gifted directors such as Stanley Kubrick.
Long before her time, it is with aspirations like these, unobtainable
or not, that Amanda uses to constantly challenge her talent as an actor.
