ROGER W. HOSKINS Eric Raingruber, head of Modesto-based Cornerstone Studios, reports that the film "Jackpot" is nearing completion. The film is on
its fourth composer and the music track appears to be almost finished.
Raingruber says a new trailer of the film was played last week at [the
National Association of Broadcasters convention The new trailer will be available on the Internet as soon as the redesign of the film Web site is complete at www.jackpotthefilm.com. Raingruber says the studio has several projects in developmental stage, including a TV pilot and some direct-to-video programming for children. Raingruber describes the tone of the projects as educational and entertaining. "We're looking at one with the (Jim) Henson feel aimed at preteens. But it's one I would enjoy and kids would too - a kind of 'Fractured Fairy Tales' look at history." |
