When Eric Raingruber struck up a conversation with Sean A. Stencil about Star Wars on the playground in
1981, neither of them had any inkling that their
brief encounter would shape the course of their
lives. Soon after, they began producing short
films with the help of Sean's father.

Cornerstone Pictures providing film and video services to clients.
In 1998 Cornerstone
Pictures was renamed Cornerstone Studios and offices were moved to the 12th floor
above the Double Tree Hotel in Modesto, where
their business flourished until they outgrew
their space in 2001.
After
a yearlong search for a new location, they stumbled
upon a 2.6 acre property which had been a Christian
television studio. Within a few months they
purchased the property which includes animation
buildings, offices, edit suites and a sound stage,
allowing them to pursue a wide range of productions
including The Bible Boat, Clyde
& Buzzy, along with a new lineup
of feature films.
